Modern Sciences – Mixing modern technology with ancient wisdom “For Good Health”

In 1964, the Japanese scientist started the first study on the natural Phellinus linteus as it was also first found in Meshima island.

In 1968, it was reported by The National Cancer Center of Japan that the natural Phellinus linteus mushroom exhibited potent anticancer activity, leading to a significant 96.7 % growth reduction in cancer cells.

In 1980, the Korean scientists started research on medicinal properties of the natural Phellinus linteus mushroom and mycelium that was cultivated from the natural one.

In 1992, Korea started studying on the activity of Phellinus linteus against cancer which was the national project.

In 1993, the commercialization of the Phellinus linteus mushroom succeeded on the market after approval as a medicine by the KFDA, Korea.

Currently, more medicinal mushroom products from Phellinus linteus and Phellinus igniarius are coming to the market. Most commercially available products are from the mycelium. However, the fruiting bodies of medicinal mushrooms have greater health benefits than mycelium.

Our products are made of the fruiting bodies of the natural Phellinus linteus and Phellinus igniarius. With over 470 species of Phellinus, we use Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) technique and DNA analysis to ensure correctly identifying Phellinus linteus and Phellinus igniarius species.

In addition, we employ modern methods at each stage of production in order to deliver products with high standard. Further verification is obtained by sending samples to the accreditation institutions for external testing, to analyze quantity of the active ingredients including toxicity, heavy metals, pathogens and other contaminants.
